About The Event
About the book
Ti Jak and the Amazing Seeds is a fun adventure reflecting Haiti’s rural culture, where Ti Jak and his school friends learn about plants. His teacher leads them to plant a small garden in their schoolyard. As he learns about plants, Ti Jak becomes aware of the importance of plants in our lives. He and his school friends grow to care for their mini garden. But then, they experience a storm that destroys their mini garden, devastating them. As a result, Ti Jak feels compelled to do something about the plants that have been destroyed. Yet, he has a glimpse of hope when he realizes that the fallen trees have left them with numerous seeds. The story revolves around the solutions he and his friends come up with to help their community.
